NestPlanet · Allyeodo
NestPlanet (the “Company”) operates the Allyeodo series of study applications. This policy applies in common to the Allyeodo series and explains what information the Company does and does not handle, and where that information is stored.
This policy applies to the apps below. When a new app is added to the series, it will be added to this list.
| App name | Description |
|---|---|
| Allyeodo — Korean History Proficiency Test (Advanced) Past Exams | Study past questions from the advanced level of the Korean History Proficiency Test |
| Allyeodo — Driver's License | Study the question bank for the driver's license written test (Class 1 and Class 2 ordinary) |
| Allyeodo — Driver's License, foreign-language edition (Allyeodo Korean Driving Test / Allyeodo 韩国驾照考试 / Allyeodo Thi bằng lái Hàn Quốc) | Study the question bank for the driver's license written test (English, Simplified Chinese, Vietnamese) |
This policy does not apply to apps not on this list. If adding an app changes the scope of the information processed, the Company will first revise this policy under the procedure in Section 12 and then reflect the change.
Allyeodo has no account system. The Company therefore neither collects nor stores the following information.
The Company does not ask you for the information above and has no means of identifying who you are.
The same applies if you purchase Remove ads. Payment is processed by the store, and the Company does not receive your payment method information. Details are in Section 7.
The records you create while using the app are stored entirely in your device's internal storage. They are not sent to the Company's servers, and the Company cannot view them.
| Item | Where it is stored |
|---|---|
| Answer history, whether answers were correct or wrong | On the device |
| Wrong-answer notes | On the device |
| Saved questions | On the device |
| Study plan | On the device |
| Study progress and statistics | On the device |
Because they exist only on your device, deleting the app also deletes these records. If you change devices or reinstall the app, your study records do not carry over and you start from the beginning. The Company has no copy and therefore cannot recover them.
Study content shown in the app, such as questions and explanations, is stored on a server operated by the Company (a database service of Supabase, Inc., Seoul region, Republic of Korea), and the app only downloads and displays it. This is a one-way retrieval: your study records and device information are not uploaded to the server in the process.
When content is downloaded, the minimum information needed for communication (such as access time and IP address) may remain in the server's access logs. This is used only to the extent necessary for operating the service and handling errors, and is not used to identify who you are or to link to an individual user's study content.
Allyeodo's app and study features are all free. To support operations, ads are shown through Google AdMob, and for those who prefer to use the app without ads, Remove ads is offered as an optional one-time purchase (Section 7). You can use every study feature without purchasing it.
In the course of serving ads, Google may collect the following information.
| Item | Collected by | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising identifier (Android advertising ID, iOS IDFA) | Google LLC | Serving ads, frequency capping, preventing invalid clicks |
| Device information (device type, OS version, language and country settings, etc.) | Google LLC | Serving ads and measuring performance |
This information is collected and processed by Google on its own; the Company does not receive or store it. You can see how Google processes data for advertising purposes below.
Google selects the individual ads shown in the app. The Company only provides the ad space; it does not know in advance or choose which ads will be shown.
If you purchase Remove ads, no ads are shown in the app.
You can reset your advertising identifier or stop it from being used for personalized ads at any time in your device settings. You do not need to delete the app, and you can keep using the app after changing the setting (ads will still be shown, but they will no longer be based on your interests).
| Device | How |
|---|---|
| Android | In Settings > Google > Ads, reset or delete your advertising ID and turn off personalization |
| iPhone · iPad | In Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, deny the app's tracking request. You can also choose “Ask App Not to Track” on the tracking permission prompt that appears when you first launch the app |
The names of settings screens may differ slightly depending on your OS version.
Allyeodo lets you purchase Remove ads if you prefer to use the app without ads. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription — you are not charged on a recurring basis. The purchase is optional, and you can use every study feature without restriction without purchasing it.
Payment is made through Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iPhone · iPad). Information about your payment method, such as card number or bank account details, passes only between you and the store; the Company neither receives, collects nor stores it. The Company has no way at all to see your payment method.
Even if your name or email address appears in the store's purchase history or receipt, that is the store displaying it based on your store account; it does not mean the Company receives that information. The handling of your store account is governed by each store's privacy policy.
So that the app can check whether you have purchased Remove ads, and so that you can restore the purchase when you change devices or reinstall the app, the Company uses the purchase status management service of RevenueCat, Inc.
In this process, the app creates one randomly generated anonymous identifier and uses it to distinguish purchase status. This identifier is not linked to any information that can identify you, such as your name, email address or phone number, and the Company cannot tell who you are from it alone. It is also not linked to the study records you create in the app (Section 3).
| Item | Details | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous identifier | A string randomly generated by the app | Distinguishing and restoring purchase status |
| Purchase history | Product purchased; time of purchase, restoration and refund; receipt identifier issued by the store | Verifying the validity of purchases |
| Device information | OS type and version; which store the purchase was made in | Verifying the validity of purchases |
This information is used only to check whether Remove ads is valid, and is not linked to ad serving (Section 5) or study records (Section 3). If you do not purchase Remove ads, this information is never created in the first place.
Your purchase record remains in the store account you paid with. If you change devices or reinstall the app, you can restore it from Settings > Restore purchases in the app.
Refunds follow each store's policies and procedures. Because the Company does not receive payment directly, it cannot issue refunds on behalf of the store. Specific instructions are on the support page.
The Company uses the services of the businesses below to operate the service. What is passed to each business and where that information is processed are set out in the table below and the referenced sections.
| Business | Task | Information passed | Where processed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supabase, Inc. | Storing and providing study content (questions and explanations) | Access logs (IP address, access time) — Section 4 | Republic of Korea (Seoul) |
| Google LLC | Serving ads (AdMob) | Advertising identifier, device information — collected directly by Google; the Company does not receive it (Section 5) | United States |
| RevenueCat, Inc. | Managing Remove ads purchase status | Anonymous identifier, purchase history, device information — Section 7 | United States |
| Google LLC | Payment processing (Google Play) | Payment method information etc. is processed directly by the store; the Company does not receive it (Section 7) | United States |
| Apple Inc. | Payment processing (App Store) | Same as above | United States |
The information passed is limited to what is necessary to perform each task, and it is passed at the time you use the service. The study records you create in the app are not passed to any of the businesses above (Section 3).
Allyeodo's study content database is in the Seoul region, Republic of Korea. The access logs in Section 4 are therefore not transferred abroad.
The other businesses are located in the United States, and in performing their tasks the information in the table above is transferred to the United States. The advertising identifier and device information are collected directly by Google (Section 5), and purchase-related information is created only if you purchase Remove ads (Section 7).
Because the Company does not hold information that can identify you, it does not have a separate consent procedure for transfers abroad. If you do not want your advertising identifier used, you can opt out using the methods in Section 6.
Allyeodo does not set any age restriction. Eligibility ages differ from test to test (the Korean History Proficiency Test has no restriction, so even elementary school students take it), but the app is not a place to verify test eligibility, so it does not ask your age. Children under 14 can use every feature in the same way as any other user.
The Personal Information Protection Act of Korea requires consent from a legal guardian to process the personal information of children under 14. Allyeodo has no such consent procedure, because it does not process personal information that would require consent. The Company does not collect any information that can identify an individual, including age (Section 2), and the study records you create never leave your device (Section 3). Since there is no personal information of children being processed, there is nothing to consent to.
Because Allyeodo does not ask your age, the ads in Section 5 are shown in the same way on the devices of all users, including children. And as stated in Section 5, Google selects the individual ads, and the Company does not know in advance or choose which ads will be shown. The Company therefore cannot guarantee that every ad shown is suitable for children. Instead, there are two things a legal guardian can do — turn off personalized ads and tell us about inappropriate ads.
The advertising identifier applies per device regardless of the user's age, and it is Google, not the Company, that collects and uses it. If you do not want a child to receive personalized ads, a legal guardian can reset or delete the device's advertising identifier or turn off personalization using the methods in Section 6. This setting applies to the whole device, so it also affects apps other than Allyeodo.
If you believe an ad shown is inappropriate for children, please let us know at the contact in Section 11. Sending a screenshot of the ad helps us check it faster. The Company will use the blocking controls provided by AdMob to prevent that ad or advertiser from appearing in the app, and will report it to Google where necessary.
Because the Company does not keep personal information that can identify you, there is nothing for you to request access to, correction of or deletion of from the Company. You can control your own data directly in the following ways.
For inquiries, complaints or remedies regarding this policy or how Allyeodo handles information, please contact us below. We will respond promptly after receiving your message.
If you need to report or seek advice on a privacy infringement, you can contact the following Korean authorities.
If this policy changes, we will give notice on this page at least 7 days before the effective date. For changes that are unfavorable to users or that change important matters, we will give notice 30 days in advance. This also applies when an app is added to the series or when the scope of information an app processes changes.
This policy is written in Korean as the authoritative version, and if a translation differs in interpretation, the Korean version prevails.
